This is a litter of Field Trial Labrador puppies which is not bred by us, but which we proudly embrace. The litter is bred under FCI rules and regulations, and puppies may be exported with the intent to register them in national kennel clubs all over Europe. Please note that EU restrictions apply to most countries, meaning that in order to travel abroad, the puppies must have a Rabies vaccination. This vaccination cannot be administered before 12 weeks of age, followed by a mandatory three-week waiting period. Hence, the puppies cannot be exported before 15 weeks of age. Christie in Scotland and imported to Denmark as a puppy in May 2018. He is a modern Field Trial Labrador who manages to combine good conformation with outstanding working abilities.
Bosse is a highly talented retriever who works with powerful, efficient movements and possesses a remarkable presence in the field. His absolute greatest asset is his excellent temperament. He possesses great mental balance, a strong "will-to-please," and intense focus when working, while remaining completely balanced, calm, and easygoing in everyday life. It is precisely this combination of high drive and a great mental "on/off switch" that we and many other breeders prefer when choosing a stud dog for our bitches.

- Early success: Bosse placed 2nd at the Danish Youth Championship in 2019, and in 2020 he achieved his first 1st winner with CK CERT at a B-trial, qualifying for the 2020 Elite Trial (which was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid-19). At the age of 2 years and 11 months, he became 1st winner in the Working Test / Mock Trial winner's class in the Danish Retriever Club.
- FCI Championships: Bosse has achieved the FCI titles Danish Working Champion (warm and cold game) (DKBRCH), Danish Field Trial Champion (warm game) (DKFTCH), Danish Working Test Champion (dummies) (DKWTCH), and Swedish Hunting Champion (dummies) (SEJCH). In 2025, he went all the way and achieved CACIT for the third time as 1st winner at an international Field Trial. Thanks to a top show result under a British show judge—Excellent in the Working Class and 1st winner (Exc.BK Plac.1)—this led to the distinguished title CIT(FT), which translates to INTFTCH (International Field Trial Champion), the highest FCI merit for field working Labradors.
- Championship Placings: In June 2022, he placed 3rd at the Danish Retriever Championship (3RM2022), which is a two-day trial on dummies. In 2024, he went all the way and won the Retriever Championship (1RM2024).
- Elite Winner Placings: Bosse won the Danish Elite Trial, which is held as a two-day trial on warm game with international participation (by qualification) (EV2023). He repeated this success by winning the Elite Trial again in 2024 (EV2024).

Greenfox Cloud (Ruby) is 4 years and 5 months old, bred by Rebecca and Andrew Gyton at Greenfox Gundogs – a highly renowned Field Working Spaniel and Retriever kennel located in Norfolk, UK.
In 2025, Ruby came to Denmark together with her owners, Stine and Ben Hammett. Ruby's Kennel Club Export Pedigree was transferred to the Danish Kennel Club (DKK/FCI), where her official health results and DNA tests were registered. Alongside this, Stine and Ben completed the DKK canine education and breeder certification programs and established their DKK/FCI kennel name Hawksmeadow, which is run from their scenic property in the western part of the island of Fyn (Funen).
Ben brings substantial professional dog handling experience from England, where he served for 12 years as a dog instructor and trainer in the British police, including handling his own Labrador Retriever explosives detection dog. Today, Stine and Ben are developing a business in Denmark encompassing a kennel, dog boarding, and professional dog training.
When we met Ruby for the first time, we fell completely for her obvious charm and friendly nature. She is a physically strong bitch with a powerful expression, yet beautifully balanced by the calm, kind temperament so characteristic of the classic English working Labrador. Now that we have seen Ruby with her puppies, she also stands out as a fantastic mother – loving, patient, and incredibly dedicated.
Reading Ruby's pedigree is like looking directly into the core of our own breeding. The pedigree is a unique concentrate of the very best classic British working lines combined with the exciting, newer blood from the Greenfox line, which is bursting with hard-working dogs actively used in the field and for long days picking up on English estates. Since the sire of the puppies, Bosse, is a litter brother to our foundation bitch Nessie, we feel this litter represents a highly predictable and exciting continuation of the work we have always done to ensure cooperative and extremely trainable working gundogs.
Ruby supplements her strong exterior and fantastic mind with solid health results:
Ruby was mated with Bosse in April, and she gave birth to 10 strong, beautiful puppies in just 10 hours on 17-06-2026. The litter consists of four males and six females, with an impressive and uniform average birth weight of 435 grams. All the puppies are growing exactly as expected and are thriving in the whelping box. Here, Ruby is showing her true quality; she is nothing short of a fantastic mother, caring for and raising her puppies exemplarily and with an admirable mental calmness.
The puppies are eight weeks of age on 12 August 2026, and 15 weeks of age on 30 September 2026
